Week after the EUSA EUG 2020 Convention was held in Belgrade, members of European University Sports Association were again guests of Serbia´s capital city. EUSA Supervision Commission and EUSA office members are meeting the EUG 2020 OC representatives.
EUSA delegation in Belgrade are EUSA Vice-president and Technical Commission Chair Mr. Kemal Tamer, EUSA Secretary General Mr. Matjaž Pečovnik, EUSA EC and Technical Commission member Mr. Milan Žvan, EUSA Sports Manager Mr. Besim Aliti, EUSA Education and Development Manager Ms. Sara Rožman and Sports Manager Assistant Mr. Liam Smith.
EUG 2020 OC director Mr. Predrag Jušković welcomed distinguished guests and said that he believes Organizing Committee will after this meeting be one step closer to achieve the common goal and organize the EUG 2020 flawlessly. Speaking for National Technical Delegates he thanked for the constructive advices heard at the EUSA EUG 2020 Convention last week and pointed out the desire that EUG 2020 will be organized perfectly.

Supervision Commission Chair Mr. Kemal Tamer told he is excited to be in the capital of Serbia, especially knowing how much Serbia respects sport and that Serbs are successful both as competitors and organizors of sports events. Because of the EUG 2020 magnituted he pointed out the challenges in coordinating all sports and other aspects of the Games and that he has full confidence in the OC.
EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaž Pečovnik agreed with the words of Mr. Tamer and told that Supervision Commission doesn´t come only to supervise, but to help overcoming all challenges. Also, he said that EUSA had five meetings with the OC in the last couple of monts and that the trust in the Organizing Committee grews larger after each one.
After the introduction representatives of each sector of the Organizing Committee presented their plans and activities in the preparation faze as well as the realization during the event itself. Meeting was concluded with a constructive discussion where both sides proposed ideas and suggestions for improvement of the entire organization. Meetings with the Supervision Commission continue on Friday when they will visit student dormitory „Studentski grad“, which will host the participants of fifth European Universities Games next year.
