Preparations for the fifth European Universities Games are in full steam, but what is more important is that all activities go according to plan and in deadlines set. Although there are 269 days left to the Games, big part of the preparation for this important event for Belgrade and Serbia is already done.
After recent meeting that the EUG 2020 management had with the EUSA Delegation in Slovenia, where the current work was presented and the next steps, organizational team of the fifth European Universities Games held the meeting with 19 representatives of 15 national sport associations that will have their sports present at the EUG from July 12-25 in Serbian capital next year.
Meeting was held in the Cultural centre of the ‘Studentski Centar’ dormitory and representatives of all branch sport associations were presented with what has been done so far in the process of organization of the fifth European Universities Games and the way in which EUG 2020 board planned that with the logistical help of every association organize tournaments by themselves.
Attendes were addressed by Mr. Predrag Jušković, General Director of the EUG 2020 sharing his big gratitude to the representatives of all national branch sport associations for their current cooperation with the belief that with the partnership made with them forthcoming competition will be the best organized competition in the history of European universities sport.
All participants were addressed also by Mr. Dragan Atanasov, project manager, who once again confirmed that all preparations go according to plan, that every EUSA report says that as well, and wished successful cooperation in the future.
Managers of all 11 sectors of the organizational structure presented segments of their organization, way of work and planned activities in the period to come with the desire to make best possible integration with every national branch sports associations to work together during the preparations and during the Games.
