Beach Handball will premiere at European Universities Games that will be organized in Belgrade in 2020. First edition of the sport, that keeps on growing in the last couple of years, during fifth European Universities Games will have a significant place in the development of the sport itself in Serbia.
- For the Fifth European Universities Games in Belgrade two Beach Handball fields will be built – explains Ms. Ana Todorić, EUG 2020 Sports Sector Manager and adds:
Beach Handball fields will be built at ada Ciganlija and when the Games finish they will stay and will be given to the City of Belgrade. That will be an additional benefit of the fact that we are hosting European Universities Games and in the years to come it will help popularizing Beach Handball in Serbia – concluded Ms. Ana Todorić.
