Venues visit as a part of EUSA EUG 2020 Convention

Second day of EUG 2020 convention Technical delegates of EUSA and representatives of EUG 2020 OC had the opportunity to visit all the venues that will host competition during the fifth edition of European Universities Games that will be held in Belgrade next year.

- In agreement with Transport department we organized venues visit. EUSA Technical delegates for each sport, along with National Technical Delegates and one representative of EUG 2020 went to see all objects. There they were welcomed by venue host who showed them all the things necessary for the competition. – explains Mr. Akim Komnenić, EUG 2020 Venues Manager.

General impression is that all the TD´s are satisfied with what they saw.

- General impression is that EUSA Technical Delegates are satisfied and we are sure that with minimal adaptation and reconstruction and temporary structure montage all venues will satisfy the standards set by EUSA.

Mr. Akim Komnenić also pointed out that as a part of the EUG 2020 two new sport venues will be built.

- As a part of the project two new venues will be built, for beach handball and beach volleyball and they will start as a EUG 2020 legacy to the City of Belgrade and sport associations. – concludes EUG 2020 Venues Manager.
