Orienteering is a sport in which competitors need, using a map and a compass, to find specific number of control spots at a given terrain in the shortest period of time. To make things more complicated, everything has to be done in a specific order that was written on the map.

All maps that are used for the competition have to be created according to ISOM standards of the International Orienteering Federation and their are experts  to make them.

Belgrade with its surroundings have over 30 orienteering courses that are done according to the ISOM standards and we believe that the most challenging one will be chosen for the EUG.
